Testimonials from Custom Group Trips in Ireland with Celtic Footstep

Our collective thanks to Celtic Footstep for a job very well done: handling all aspects of our recent Princeton Class of ‘57 Irish Mini-Reunion.

I’m painfully well aware, having done this before, of the specialised and unique challenge presented by our requirements: pertinent and interesting academic content, related and supporting tours and talks along with a mix of high-quality entertainment and just the right amount free time to relax and enjoy one another’s company… not an easy combination nor balance to attain for this relatively large and diverse group.

Feedback I’ve received enthusiastically supports my own impression that everything went off seamlessly. The choice of lodging and meals were regarded as excellent, the talks and tours were not only interesting and appropriate — they were all delivered with captivating enthusiasm.

Below are excerpts from just a few of the e-mailed messages I’ve received:

“…a wonderful, memorable time”
“…what a lovely time we had…some powerful memories”
“…gave us a set of experiences we’ll never forget”
“…this was the best!”

I hope to have a chance to take advantage of your services again sometime, Kerry, and I’m pleased to offer my enthusiastic recommendation of the Celtic Footstep team to prospective event or tour planners.

Thank you so much for arranging the Masses for Fr., he truly enjoyed it. After seeing the Galway Cathedral, he was wishing he had decided to concelebrate there as well as it is so beautiful and there was a wedding starting while we were there! Ireland is magical. I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful time, accommodations and food that we had, it was superb!
— Maureen Abramsom, St Matthews Church, California, USA.

was personally delighted with the itinerary and the arrangements – many thanks for all your careful planning and ongoing attention to detail. It was certainly full of adventure and happy exploration, and Michael was quite outstanding – but we also much benefited from Padraigin, Bob Hanna, Michael Rodgers and others. It has been a joy to hear from them all since our return – I do hope it will be possible to stay in touch – as with you as well of course.

The response from people indicates that Aran was the big highlight, and especially the accommodation – however we also found the Emmaus Centre was quite exceptional, and full of Christian warmth and kindness.
— Revd. Canon Gordon. Dey , Bradford, England.

I was on the trip and certainly enjoyed everything. It was a little hectic but I realize that is the nature of that sort of tour. I liked the opportunity to pray and to have communion at certain sites. The food and accommodations couldn’t have been nicer and the people, tour leaders, etc. were extremely helpful and courteous.
— Rev Bo Townsend, Texas, USA.

We are so grateful to all at Celtic Footstep for the fabulous job they did in helping take care of our group from start to finish on this fabulous trip.

From the moment we contacted them and told them the purpose of our trip and the places and sites we wished to visit, they were brilliant to deal with. Their help in arranging the logistical and practical aspects of the trip, as well as the wonderful expert facilitators they secured for our group right across Ireland took away a lot of potential headaches.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Celtic Footstep to anyone organizing a group trip around Ireland – their knowledge, expertise and contacts will take away so much of the burden that befalls to tour organizers. You’ll be so glad you chose to work with them!

“Our trip to Ireland with Celtic Footstep was beyond our expectations. Ireland is simply a wonderful, unforgettable place. The rich history and ancient places speak to the heart of the pilgrim. Adventure is around every corner from the fun cities to the quaint villages, from the dramatic coast to the rolling, green countryside.

Celtic Footstep made our journey a dream realized. They were by our side at every step. They offered great suggestions for lodging and places to visit. During the trip, they were available to help with whatever we needed. My students came away with a stronger faith in God and experienced a trip of a life-time.

Thank you Celtic Footstep!”
